Let's Get VISIBLE

Blind Sports WA, with the assistance of Telethon, City West Lotteries House and the City of Mandurah's Community Development Officer (Access and Inclusion), is bringing "Let's Get VISIBLE" to the Peel region in Term 2. 

Let's Get VISIBLE is a fantastic initiative designed for children aged 5 to 15 who are blind of vision-impaired. Designed in collaboration with an exercise physiologist and individuals with vision impairment, this program focuses on fundamental gross motor skills and introduces participants to various blind sports and recreational activities.

With funding from Telethon, Blind Sport WA is proud to offer an inclusive environment that fosters self-confidence, spatial awareness, and overall well-being.

Here are some key details:

• Program: Let's Get VISIBLE
• Target Age Group: Children aged 5-15 who are blind or vision impaired
• Duration: 8 weeks in Term 2, 2024
• Cost: $40 for 8 sessions
• Equipment: Provided
