Sensory Santa Sessions for Mandurah Community
The City of Mandurah has published a Social Story to introduce a Santa experience to children with sensitivities. This is part of Mandurah's commitment to access and inclusion and means every child has an opportunity to participate in this special time. Bookings are required to visit Santa.
Sensory Santa Sessions are taking place at the Contemporary Art Spaces Mandurah (CASM), located at 63 Ormsby Terrace in Mandurah.
A social story™ uses storytelling techniques to explain new experiences and environments. Anyone who is nervous when attending a place or event for the first time may benefit from access to a social story.
Is it recommended that you read the social story preferably two weeks in advance of your Santa visit.
