Wearable Arts Mandurah Showcase

The Wearable Art Mandurah Showcase presents the finest wearable art from across Australia and beyond through a highly entertaining stage performance. This show has developed from a small fashion show into an international wearable art competition and performance that offers a new exciting experience for textile practitioners and audiences.

When: 

Saturday, 9 June from 6:30PM - 8PM

Sunday, 10 June from 2PM - 3:45PM

"Understanding Angry Emotions" - a free one night workshop for all men.

Presented by Relationships Australia. A free one night event for all men.

National Tree Day

We are planting Mandurah green!
Come join this free community event with your family, friends and the community as we help our local environment this National Tree Day, rolling up our sleeves to plant over 7000 seedlings!

Mandurah Children's Festival

The Mandurah Children’s Festival is a FREE event for children of all ages to attend and participate in a safe and friendly environment. Come along to a fun family day out on the Mandurah foreshore.

Community Christmas Pagaent

Come and experience the wonder of Christmas at the Mandurah Christmas Pageant presented by ACTON Mandurah. This wonderful tradition sees local community groups and businesses parade their floats through Mandurah’s CBD.

New Years Eve Celebrations

Join the community of Mandurah at the New Year's Eve Celebrations for live music and fireworks to welcome in 2018. Check out the free shuttle bus running between Mandurah Station and Mandurah Visitors Centre.

Fireworks: 9pm and midnight

Live DJ all night, disco lights, roving entertainment and amusement rides on the Mandurah foreshore. With hours of entertainment, activities and amusements the evening will be a great night out for the whole family.

When: Monday, December 31 from 6pm to midnight.

What's New

  • Coastal Lakes - A New College Pathway

    Riverside ESC is delighted to be able to offer our students and their families another transition option for post-primary education. Starting 2019, Coastal Lakes College in Lakelands, Mandurah, will open its doors to Year 7 and 8 students for entry into the college's Inclusive Education Hub (Education Support).

    Shane Easton, Deputy Principal of the new college and leading the Hub initiative, has already communicated with and visited Riverside on several occasions to commence relationship building and to facilitate enrolment procedures.

    If you are considering Coastal Lakes as a future location for your child's education, please do not hesitate to contact the school. Email Lakelands.SS@education.wa.edu.au. Please note enrolments for 2019 may already be fully subscribed.

    Riverside ESC acknowledges Coastal Lakes College as another enhancement to Mandurah's identity as a supportive location for people of all disabilities and an important location for specialised education. We wish Coastal Lakes College every success.

  • Top Tips for being a Terrific Dad (with Maggie Dent)

    This is a free seminar just for Dads which unplugs the important aspects of parenting children from birth to 25. Maggie has a keen ability to “talk bloke” and decodes complex information in a highly practical and informative way. In her common-sense way, Maggie will inspire, empower and enthuse every Dad in the room to be just terrific.

  • Disability Expo for Mandurah Community (FREE)

    JTC Education Support Centre invites students, parents and carers to its “Fostering Different Abilities” Expo. The Expo is FREE, organised to introduce to everyone the fantastic disability supports and services available. The organisers aim is to inform the disability community, to make everyone aware of the services available, and to enable and empower them to take control of their lives, encourage independence, and to provide equal opportunities.

Useful Links has sites specific to your school age child, while General Links provides links to more general information, including Department of Education websites.
