2017

My Park Grooves

MyPark Grooves is a series of four fun and entertaining events held in our great parks and reserves around Mandurah on every Sunday in November. MyPark Grooves is an opportunity to get together with your family, friends and neighbours to celebrate the great outdoor environments Mandurah has to offer and reconnect with your local park.

Celebrate Ability

Celebrate Ability! celebrates International Day of People with Disability. This free community event will be held at the Gary Holland Community Centre from 10am to 2pm and will provide community members of all abilities with an opportunity to take part in a range of fun activities and enjoy live entertainment.

Hosted by the City of Rockingham in partnership with the Let’s Talk Disability Network, the event is a celebration of people with disability, highlighting their abilities and the contribution they make to their community.

Community Christmas Pageant

Come and experience the wonder of Christmas at Mandurah’s annual Community Christmas Pageant, presented by ACTON Mandurah.

  • 6.00pm Community Christmas Pageant
  • 7.00pm Live stage entertainment, interactive nativity scene and workshops
  • 7.30pm Santa’s Grotto
  • 8.30pm Spectacular Fireworks

When: Tuesday, December 12

This wonderful tradition sees local community groups and businesses parade their floats through Mandurah’s CBD.

New Year's Eve

Join us at the New Year's Eve Celebrations for live music and fireworks to welcome in 2017.

  • Fireworks: 9.00pm and midnight
  • Bon Jovi Tribute show, Danny Bau, Jasmine Atkins, Wicked Dance Works, A Day for Mae and Nate Lansdell.
  • Amusement rides, SECTOR X and activities will line the foreshore and more!

With hours of entertainment, activities and amusements the evening will be a great night out for the whole family.

2018

Australia Day Citizenship Celebrations

Join us on Australia Day for Mandurah's largest annual Citizenship Ceremony. Head to the foreshore between 7am - 9am to enjoy a $6 cooked Aussie breakfast thanks to the Lions Club of Mandurah and live music thanks to the Mandurah Concert Band.

The official ceremony starts at 8.30am with the winners for the Citizen of the Year Awards announced, followed by the welcoming of over 100 new citizens who will take their oath to become Australia’s newest citizens.

The event finishes with a flotilla of boats on the estuary, organised by Mandurah Offshore Fishing and Sailing Club (MOFSC) competing for the best dressed title awarded by Mandurah's Mayor, Marina Vergone at approximately 11am.

There are NO fireworks in Mandurah on Australia Day.

Channel Seven Mandurah Crab Fest

Channel 7 Mandurah Crab Fest, presented by LiveLighter is Western Australia's premier tourism event and showcases Mandurah and the Peel Region. The 2 day FREE event celebrates the region's waterways, local produce, fresh seafood, gourmet delights, wine, local and national entertainment plus a spectacular fireworks display. A 'must visit' event for all the family!

  • Sunday, 18 March 2018 from 10am – 5pm

Fairbridge Festival 2018

An annual family-friendly celebration of folk, world and roots music in a traffic-free, self-contained, heritage-listed village. Almost 100 acts will entertain you on this magical escape from everyday life. Don’t miss out on WA’s best kept secret that has been a firm favourite for years all just 5 km north of Pinjarra – only an hour’s drive from central Perth. Come for the day or camp for the four-day weekend!
