Mandurah Celebrates International Day of People with Disability

The City of Mandurah will celebrate International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD)at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre on 3 December 2024. Riverside Education Suport Centre is pleased to support this event through the provision of event information to our school community.

IDPwD offers a chance to celebrate and contribute to building a more inclusive and diverse community, supporting the 4.4 million Australians with disability.

Highlights of the event include:

• a choir performance by students from Halls Head College Education Support Centre,
• a film screening by Act One an inclusive theatre group,
• guest speakers,
• interactive community group activities, and
• a marketplace selling gifts from local people with disability, perfect for early Christmas shopping.

Morning tea will also be available, offering a great opportunity to connect with others in our vibrant community.

Please note that registration is essential for this main event to ensure that there is enough seating for everyone to be comfortable and enjoy the event.
