Truth, Pride and Friendship

CYDA Offers Photo Opportunity

Children and Young People with Disability Australia (CYDA) is seeking original artwork and candid photos of children and young people with disability to use in its publications. Current stock imagery is limited and often not representative of Australia and the disability community.

CYDA wants to showcase real people with disability enjoying themselves with friends and families or enjoying individual activities in their every-day settings like home and school or out and about. We want to be truly representative by including a range of:

• physical and intellectual disability types – visible and not visible
• functional supports, mobility and communication aids used
• age groups
• ethnic, cultural and religious differences and identities, and
• family structures.

The images will need to be previously unpublished and available for use by CYDA exclusively. To find out more information and apply, click the following link: Imagine your images or art on CYDA's website and social media Survey (surveymonkey.com)

Note: This opportunity has no connection with Riverside ESC, nor does Riverside ESC benefit from publishing this opportunity. Text is taken from CYDA e-News Issue 34 / 11 August 2021 (CYDA August e-News (mailchi.mp)).
