Truth, Pride and Friendship

Murdoch University says Thank You

Riverside ESC has a long tradition of supporting learning educators. Our programs and teachers are well respected and offer an opportunity for these pre-graduating teachers to experience the joys and challenges of an education support centre. This year we have hosted several "Pre-Service Teachers" from Murdoch University's Discipline of Education.

Murdoch's Professional Experience Team has written to Riverside ESC to thank us for our commitment and ongoing support, also looking forward to strengthening this relationship in 2020.

Specifically, the Certificate of Appreciation received last week acknowledges our support of the Murdoch UIniversity School of Education Initial Teacher Education Program and states:

"Your school has provided quality placements aligned to AITSL Professional Standards for Teachers supporting development of classroom practice for our teacher education students. The involvement of your school is essential in our accreditation of initial teacher education, addressing

Standard 5: School Partnerships

Standard 6: Program delivery and resourcing

and for the development of high quality future graduate teachers."

(Signed: Dr Susan Ledger, Head of Discipline of Education)
