Schools Alive Choir Visits Silver Chain

Silver Chain Visits Jun 2016 from Silver Chain YouTubeOn Wednesday 22nd June the Schools Alive Choir, which includes several students from Riverside ESC, visited participants at the Silver Chain Social Centre for an afternoon of music and interaction. The choir performed a variety of songs, including the popular songs “Frozen” and “Let it Go” from the “Frozen” movie.

It was wonderful to see the young choir members interacting with our senior citizens after their performance. An enjoyable lunch was provided for the choir and it is hoped to return to the Silver Chain Centre for a Christmas performance.

A delightful video of the visit was recorded by Silver Chain, available on YouTube - see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4Ktjv7A7cg&feature=youtu.be

"Both groups have so much to offer and learn from each other, that the result is always magical." - Silver Chain
